“Queer” is a reclaimed umbrella term for the broad LGBTQIA+ community, AND can refer to people who defy mainstream conformist expectations. It was originally a derogatory term that has been reclaimed.
While most of our collective members identify as queer in some way, and we revel in a unique opportunity to be in a queer-centric workspace in a predominantly straight world, we certainly see all kinds of clients and whole-heartedly welcome attending to all humans in proximity to our values. We especially welcome queer and bipoc folx.
Our central feature is the group room. We currently host 5-8 groups per week, and are attracting more groups, collective members, and events as we unfold!
We have 3 offices available for subleasing, click on Office Rentals in the menu! We welcome more than mental health therapists… educators, prescribers, movement practitioners, and more…
Many healing professionals and creatives describe their work as deeply meaningful, while also isolating and lonely. This is exactly why this space was built, to gather like-mindeds who want to practice together, and feel supported and connected to larger village. With this increased safety and rootedness together, we can flourish and thrive even more freely.
bienvenidos!

The Geode
The Geode is the name of our building. A geode is a hollow rock brimming with crystals, or mineral matter, seen in some cultures as reservoirs of potent vibrations, protective talismans, and conduits of positive forces.
The Geode houses sculptor and building designer Martin Eichinger’s studio and gallery, as well as professional creative businesses. The original one-level building was built in 1928, and modernized in 2018. Skylights carry light into the building furthering the geode fracture theme. The two entrances are lined with two LED light blades that span from the ground to the roof.
It’s located in SE Portland on Division Street and 25th Avenue. Within a couple of blocks is: Clinton Street Coffeehouse, Theater, comics, fabrics, leather, famous Reel M Inn chicken, cooking classes, yoga, restaurants, a bicycling corridor, and much more. Within a few more blocks is New Season’s grocery and Ladd’s Addition.
